GetHookd announces expanded Instagram ad-intelligence capabilities to help jewelry brands uncover the emotional hooks and creative concepts competitors are scaling before developing campaigns of their own.
-- GetHookd has announced an expansion of its Instagram ad-intelligence capabilities for jewelry brands, effective as of October 2, 2026, giving marketers a way to study which creative ideas competitors keep investing in before deciding what to test next. Through its Brand Spy tool, advertisers can track the jewelry campaigns competitors are actively scaling and carry those findings into new creative within the same platform.
For jewelry advertisers, that research starts with understanding why certain creative earns attention. GetHookd says the strongest Instagram jewelry ads in 2026 lead with the feeling a piece represents, such as love, celebration, status or memory, and introduce the product second. In the company’s view, shoppers are buying that feeling long before they focus on the metal or stone.
Finding those ideas matters because spending on Meta concentrates heavily behind a small number of ads. Motion’s 2026 Creative Benchmarks report, which analyzed $1.29 billion in Meta ad spend across more than 578,000 creatives, found that roughly 5% of creatives became winners and that those winning creatives received about 55% of total spend.
“The brands winning right now aren’t necessarily spending more,” said GetHookd CEO Alex Fedotoff. “Instead, they’re thinking more clearly about what they’re saying, to whom, and at which stage of the buying journey.”
GetHookd’s analysis of the category points to two further patterns. First, lo-fi user-generated content, shot on a phone with genuine reactions, consistently outperforms studio-produced jewelry ads in click-through rate, because Instagram shoppers have learned to distrust overly polished creative. Second, timing plays a significant role in seasonal campaigns. GetHookd recommends launching gifting creative three to four weeks before a key date and saving urgency messaging for the final week.
“Jewelry shoppers begin researching gifts significantly earlier than most brands begin advertising,” Fedotoff said.
GetHookd’s library covers millions of Meta ads. Once marketers identify a concept worth testing, they can save the campaign to a swipe file and use the platform’s Video Scripts, Clone Ads and Creative Analyzer tools to develop new variations around the underlying idea, with the original competitive research staying connected to production. Teams can return to the same workflow when campaigns lose momentum, so creative refreshes are guided by current competitor activity.
